Building on the huge success of SWGfL's E-Safety conferences in 2007 and 2008, this year will again witness world leaders on Internet Safety delivering a comprehensive programme of seminars and keynote addresses, providing crucial information on the latest developments in the E-Safety arena. Amongst these leaders, we are delighted to welcome Professor Tanya Byron to address the conference. Delegates to the conference will have an unprecedented opportunity to gain an understanding of the emerging national policy picture, the international perspective and the latest academic research. They will also hear recommendations for the practical solutions that all of us can utilise to ensure that children are safe when using the new technologies.
The conference programme is developed from a cross-curricular perspective, enabling all senior strategy and decision makers to share good practice and gain ideas to take back to their organisation, helping children and young people to safely make the most of what the internet and mobile technologies have to offer.
PLEASE NOTE: Bookings close at 12 noon on 12 November 09.
This event starts at 9am and finishes at 5pm.
