E2BN is extremely proud to announce that the consortium is a finalist in the BETT Awards 2010 for Primary Digital Content with our Myths and Legends website as well as Secondary, FE & Skills Digital Content with Cookit.

 

Myths and Legends is used throughout the UK, as well as worldwide. It is a learning resource for pupils, teachers and all those who enjoy stories and storytelling. Pupils of all abilities can enjoy reading and creating stories using the tools available on the site. These tools include a unique story-making tool that allows pupils to make and playback their own myths and legends, and a sound and picture gallery.

 

Cookit is an innovative online resource, with a primary purpose of improving pupil's skills, understanding and enjoyment of healthy eating. It includes a searchable list of recipes, which gives the facility for schools to share their own recipes and ideas with others. They can be uploaded to the site in the form of text, PowerPoint presentations, PDFs or Word documents. You can also take a trip through centuries of cooking including Prehistoric, Roman, Saxon and World War 2 sections. Each section includes recipes showing authentic surroundings and processes used during each individual time.
