The Minister for Schools and Learners, Vernon Coaker, took time out from a very busy visit to BETT 2010 at Olympia to talk to the NEN Live Reporter team. He spoke at length about the importance of Home Access to technology for all learners and their families. The Minister spoke about making certain that every child, wherever they lived and whatever their family's level of income, should be able to make use of essential learning tools such as laptops, digital cameras and the internet.
The Minister also singled out the work of the National Education Network for particular praise. "The National Education Network is doing great work in providing our learners and schools with fantastic, high-quality resources," he said, "and we wish it continued success in the future".
